✓ This Table — 7 ft

Room minimum: ~11' × 15'

Fits smaller game rooms, finished basements, and bonus rooms. Same quality as the 8-ft — sized for tighter spaces.

Also Available — 8 ft

Room minimum: ~13' × 17'

Regulation bar-size. If you have the space, the 8-ft Hustler gives you more playing room and closer-to-standard geometry.

💡 The 7-ft Hustler isn't a compromised version of the 8-ft. It uses the same construction spec — ¾" CARB-certified MDF, K-66 rubber cushions, internal ball return, and a matte black cabinet. The only difference is the playing surface dimensions. If your room can't accommodate 13' × 17', you're not settling — you're choosing the right size for your space.

Why the Hustler 7-ft

Real Pool Table Performance in a Smaller Footprint

  • K-66 gum rubber cushions — tournament-spec rebound in a 7-ft package

K-66 is the industry-standard cushion profile used on professional tables — the same spec found on tables that cost three times as much. Bank shots respond predictably, corner shots don't die, and you won't have to mentally adjust for dead rails. This is the cushion spec that separates real pool tables from game room props.

  • 📐

¾" CARB-certified MDF playfield — flat, consistent, and accurate

The playing bed is poly-sealed ¾-inch MDF certified by California's strict formaldehyde standards. Thicker than entry-level tables. The result is a flatter, more stable surface that holds its levelness over time and rolls accurately from any position. Your shots land where you aim them.

  • 🎱

Built-in ball return — pocket a ball and keep playing

The internal ball return system channels every pocketed ball back to the end of the table automatically. No reaching under the table, no hunting for balls, no interruptions mid-game. This is the feature that separates a fun table from a frustrating one during fast-paced play or parties.

  • 🏗️

Matte black cabinet with pedestal legs and 6" levelers — solid and stylish

The 4-inch wide laminate top rails with chrome corner connectors give the Hustler a clean, modern look that holds up in daily use. Rigid pedestal-style legs with 6-inch stabilizing levelers keep the table planted on any floor surface without rocking or drifting during play.

  • 🎁

Everything included — set it up and start playing immediately

Comes with two 57-inch pool cues, a full set of billiard balls, two pieces of chalk, a table brush, and a racking triangle. No accessories to buy separately. Unbox it, assemble it, and you're playing within the same afternoon it arrives.

Is This Right for You?

This Table Is Built For

The 7-ft Hustler fills a specific and common need. Here's who it's the right call for:

📏

Smaller game rooms

Your basement, bonus room, or den doesn't have clearance for an 8-ft table. The 7-ft Hustler gives you real pool without requiring a room you don't have.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Family game rooms

Pool nights, game day, birthday gatherings. The Hustler's modern black-and-blue look fits contemporary homes and plays well for all skill levels.

🎯

Casual to intermediate players

You enjoy the game and want a table that plays honestly — accurate rolls, responsive cushions, real gameplay. Not a toy, not overkill.

💰

Smart value buyers

You want the core performance features of a real pool table — K-66 cushions, MDF bed, ball return — without paying for size you can't use.

Not the right fit if: Your room comfortably fits a 13' × 17' footprint — in that case, the 8-ft Hustler will give you a closer-to-regulation playing experience. Both tables share identical construction quality; it's purely a size decision based on your space.
⚖️
7-ft vs 8-ft Hustler — which should you choose? Both tables use identical construction: same ¾" MDF playfield, same K-66 cushions, same matte black cabinet, same ball return system. The 7-ft playing surface is 78" × 39"; the 8-ft is 88" × 44". For most rooms under 13' × 17', the 7-ft is the correct choice. If you're on the fence about room size, measure from wall to wall and subtract 10 feet (5 feet of cue clearance per side). If the result is under 78 inches, go with the 7-ft. If it's over 88 inches, go with the 8-ft.

Delivery

How Your Table Gets to You

At ~250 lbs, the Hustler ships via LTL freight on a pallet — not UPS or FedEx. Here's exactly what to expect so there are no surprises on delivery day:

1

Order placed → ships within 1–3 business days

Orders are processed promptly. You'll receive tracking and carrier details as soon as your table ships from the warehouse.

2

Freight carrier calls to schedule your delivery appointment

The carrier contacts you at the phone number on your order to set a delivery window — typically 4 hours. Make sure your contact number is correct at checkout to avoid delays.

3

Curbside delivery — table arrives at your curb on a pallet

The driver unloads the pallet at your driveway or curb. Standard delivery does not include carrying it inside. At ~250 lbs, plan to have a helper available to bring it in and up any stairs.

4

Inspect everything before signing the receipt

Walk the full shipment before signing. Note any damage — even packaging damage — on the delivery receipt before you sign. This protects your freight claim rights. Contact us right away with photos if anything looks wrong.

5

Assembly — typically 1–2 hours, two people recommended

All hardware and instructions are included. Assembly is straightforward — attach the legs, level the table, and you're ready to play. Most customers finish in under 90 minutes with a helper.

Transit time: Most deliveries arrive within 7–14 business days after shipment depending on your location and carrier schedule. We'll share an estimated window once your order ships.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

It's purely a room size decision — both tables are identical in construction quality. Measure your room's shortest dimension (width) and subtract 10 feet (5 feet of cue clearance per side using standard 57-inch cues). If the result is at least 78 inches, the 7-ft fits. If it's at least 88 inches, the 8-ft fits. If your room comfortably accommodates the 8-ft, it gives you a closer-to-regulation playing experience. If it doesn't, the 7-ft plays very well and you'll enjoy it just as much. Don't buy an 8-ft for a room where cue clearance is tight — playing with cramped cue room is frustrating.
The table's overall footprint is 87" × 48". For comfortable play with standard 57-inch cues, you need approximately 5 feet of clearance on each end and each side. That means a room of at least 11' × 15' (ideally 12' × 16') for comfortable four-sided cue clearance. In tighter rooms, shorter 48-inch cues can reduce the required space further. Measure carefully before ordering — the table cannot be easily disassembled if it doesn't fit.
The Hustler uses a ¾-inch CARB-certified MDF playing surface, not slate. Slate tables ($2,500–$6,000+) are the gold standard for competitive and professional play — heavier, more expensive, and nearly impossible to warp. MDF tables like the Hustler are an excellent choice for home recreational play: lighter, easier to move, and much more affordable. The ¾-inch thickness and poly-seal coating give this MDF surface significantly better durability and roll accuracy than cheaper thin-MDF alternatives.
The internal ball return is a channel system built beneath the playfield. When a ball is pocketed, it rolls down the pocket and through the channel to a collection area at one end of the table. Balls are returned automatically — you don't need to reach under or around the table. The system handles all six pockets. Note that the cue ball typically returns to a separate spot or is returned manually (it's slightly larger to enable this in some systems). Check the manual for your specific setup.
Assembly is moderate — not beginner-simple but manageable for most adults with a helper and basic tools. The main steps are attaching the legs to the cabinet, leveling the table with the 6-inch foot levelers, and setting up the ball return. A wrench and screwdriver are typically needed; some may be included. Most customers finish in 1–2 hours. The most important step is taking time to level the table properly — an unlevel surface affects ball roll significantly.
Every shipment is fully insured. The most important step is inspecting the table before signing the delivery receipt. If you see any damage — even to the outer packaging — note it on the receipt before signing, then contact us immediately with photos. Do not refuse the delivery unless the table is completely destroyed, as partial damage is almost always resolved with replacement parts rather than a full return. We handle the freight claim process with you and will make it right.
