📐 Will This Table Fit Your Room?
The Augusta 8-ft requires a room of at least 13′ × 17′ for comfortable play.
Too Small
Under 13′ × 17′
Standard cues will hit the walls. Consider a 7-ft table instead.
✓ Perfect Fit
13′ × 17′ to 15′ × 19′
Comfortable clearance with standard 57-in cues on all sides.
Room to Spare
15′ × 19′ and larger
Excellent. Full movement around the table with comfortable clearance.
How to measure: Measure your room wall-to-wall. Subtract 5 feet from each dimension (2.5 feet of cue clearance per side). If the result is 8′ × 9′ or larger, the Augusta fits. Example: a 14′ × 18′ room gives 9′ × 13′ of usable play space — comfortable for an 8-ft table. If your room is under 13′ × 17′, consider our 7-ft Newport or Excalibur tables instead.
🎱 Comparable furniture-grade 8-ft pool tables from specialty billiards retailers start at $3,500–$6,000. The Augusta delivers a genuine mahogany finish, reinforced internal support beams, and professional K-66 cushions at $2,299 with free freight shipping — the quality that usually costs twice as much.

Why the Augusta

Built to Look Premium, Built to Play Seriously

  • 🪵

Traditional mahogany finish — furniture quality, not toy quality

The Augusta's cabinet is finished in a warm, deep mahogany that photographs beautifully and holds up over years of use. It's the kind of table that anchors a room rather than being hidden in a corner. Most pool tables at this price look like game room props. This one looks like furniture.

  • 🏗️

Reinforced internal support structure — stable under real play

Interior support beams are built into the cabinet frame, not bolted on as an afterthought. This means the table stays level and solid during aggressive play — no shimmy, no flex. It's the kind of structural detail that separates tables designed to last from tables designed to sell.

  • K-66 rubber cushions — professional rebound, not dead rails

K-66 is the industry-standard cushion profile found on professional-grade tables. Banks come off predictably. Shots play honestly. You won't have to compensate for dead corners or inconsistent rebounds. This is the same spec used on tables that cost twice as much.

  • 📐

Full 8-ft regulation size — real gameplay, real practice

At 88" × 44" playing surface, this is a standard bar-size table. Shot angles, cue ball control, and position play all translate directly to any pool hall you'll ever walk into. 7-ft tables change the geometry enough to build bad habits — this one won't.

  • 🎨

Bold red felt — a classic combination that commands the room

Mahogany and red felt is the most timeless combination in billiards. It reads as classic, confident, and high-end. If you're investing in a table that will be a centerpiece of your space, this finish pairing does the job without needing anything else around it.

⚖️
Comparing the Augusta to our Hustler ($1,999)? Both are full 8-ft tables with K-66 cushions and MDF surfaces. The Augusta adds a furniture-grade mahogany cabinet finish, reinforced internal support structure, and a more refined overall aesthetic — features that matter if this table will live in a dedicated game room or be visible to guests. If you need a great table at a lower price point, the Hustler delivers. If you want something that looks and feels like a premium investment, the Augusta is the step up.

Is This Right for You?

This Table Is Built For

The Augusta is positioned above entry level for a reason. Here's exactly who gets the most out of it:

🏡

Dedicated game room owners

You've built — or are building — a real game room. The table is the centerpiece. It needs to look the part, not just play the part.

🪑

Design-conscious buyers

You care how the room looks. A table with a furniture-grade mahogany finish fits traditional, transitional, and upscale interiors without clashing.

🎯

Intermediate to serious players

You play regularly, you understand the game, and you want a table that plays consistently and accurately — not one that fights your shots.

🏆

Long-term buyers

You're not looking to buy a pool table twice. Reinforced construction and a quality finish mean this table holds up over years, not just months.

Not the right fit if: You need a slate table for competitive or professional play — the Augusta uses an MDF surface, which is excellent for recreational and serious home use but isn't tournament-grade slate. For that, you'd be looking at $4,000+. This table occupies the sweet spot between entry-level and professional.

Delivery

How Your Table Gets to You

This table ships via LTL freight on a pallet — not standard parcel delivery. Here's the full process so there are no surprises:

1

Order confirmed → ships within 1–3 business days

After your order is placed, we process it quickly. You'll receive tracking and carrier information when it ships from the warehouse.

2

Freight carrier calls to schedule your delivery window

The carrier will contact you directly using the phone number on your order to set up a delivery appointment — typically a 4-hour window. Double-check your contact number at checkout.

3

Curbside delivery — table is placed at your door

The driver unloads the pallet at your curb or driveway. Standard delivery does not include bringing it inside. Plan for two people to be available — the table is heavy and requires help to carry in and up any stairs.

4

Inspect everything before signing the receipt

Walk the entire shipment before you sign. If you see any damage to the packaging or table, note it clearly on the delivery receipt. This step is critical — it protects your ability to file a freight claim if needed. Contact us immediately with photos if damage is present.

5

Assembly — plan for 1–2 hours with a helper

All hardware and illustrated instructions are included. Two people makes the job significantly easier, especially for leveling. Professional assembly may be available in select areas — contact us to ask before ordering.

Transit time: Most deliveries arrive within 7–14 business days after shipment. Exact timing depends on your location and the carrier's route schedule. We'll share an estimated window once your order ships.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Three things: the cabinet finish, the internal structure, and the overall build quality. Entry-level tables typically use a basic laminate cabinet with minimal internal framing. The Augusta uses a traditional mahogany finish with reinforced internal support beams — which means the table looks better, plays more consistently over time, and holds up under regular use without developing wobble or warping. If this table will live in a visible space and be used regularly, the difference becomes obvious quickly.
The finish is a traditional mahogany-tone veneer and lacquer applied to the MDF cabinet — not solid mahogany throughout (which would add significant cost and weight). This is standard construction for furniture-style game tables at this price point. The finish is durable, uniform, and photographed beautifully. It will hold its look for years with normal care.
The table itself is approximately 96–100" long × 54–56" wide. For full cue clearance on all sides (using a standard 57" cue), plan for a room of at least 13' × 17'. If your space is tighter, shorter 48" cues can work and reduce the required clearance significantly. Measure your room carefully before ordering — if you're close to the minimum, contact us and we'll help you figure it out.
Standard delivery is curbside only. The freight driver will unload the pallet at your curb or driveway — moving it inside is the customer's responsibility. This is important to plan for ahead of time. The table is heavy and you'll need at least two people to bring it in and up any steps. Inside delivery or white-glove installation may be available in select areas for an additional fee — contact us before ordering if you need this.
Every shipment is fully insured. The most important step is to inspect the table before signing the delivery receipt. If you notice damage — even to the outer packaging — write it on the receipt before signing. Then contact us right away with photos. Do not refuse the delivery unless the product is completely destroyed, as partial damage is almost always resolvable with replacement parts rather than a full return shipment. We handle the freight claim process with you.
Assembly is moderate — manageable for most people with a helper and basic tools. All hardware and illustrated instructions are included. The most important step is leveling the table properly, which takes patience but no special skills. Most customers complete the full setup in 1–2 hours with two people. If you'd prefer professional assembly, it may be available in your area — contact us before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.
