The Only Pool Table That Belongs Outside

Every other pool table on this site is for indoor use only. The Alpine is built specifically for outdoor play — powder-coated aluminum frame, 1-inch waterproof HDF playing surface, UV-resistant electric blue felt that won't fade or warp, and K-55 gum rubber cushions rated for outdoor conditions. Full regulation 8-ft size. Gloss white finish. A table that turns your patio, deck, or pool area into a game room.

🌧️

Rain

Waterproof HDF surface and UV-resistant felt repel water completely. No warping, no swelling.

☀️

Sun & UV

UV-resistant felt resists fading season after season. The powder-coated frame won't yellow or crack.

💧

Moisture

Aluminum corners, legs, and rails won't rust or corrode — ever. Zero ferrous metal in the frame.

🌡️

Temperature

Built to handle seasonal temperature swings. Cover included for storage when not in use.

⚠️ Important: The Alpine is designed for covered or semi-exposed outdoor use — patios, pergolas, pool decks, and covered entertaining areas. While the felt and playing surface are fully waterproof and UV-resistant, we recommend using the included nylon cover when the table is not in use for extended periods. Direct exposure to extended standing water or storage in full weather without a cover will shorten any outdoor product's lifespan. Treated correctly, this table performs exceptionally for years outdoors.
💡 An outdoor-rated pool table is a specialty product — the waterproofing, UV coating, and aluminum framing add real cost over indoor tables. At $2,999 with free shipping and the cover included, the Alpine is the entry point for genuine outdoor pool table ownership. Cheaper alternatives use wood frames and standard felt that will deteriorate outdoors within a season.

Why the Alpine

Built for Outside. Plays Like the Real Thing.

  • 🔩

Powder-coated gloss white aluminum frame — zero rust, ever

The corners, legs, and rails are aluminum — not steel, not wood. Aluminum doesn't rust. The powder-coated gloss white finish bonds to the metal surface and resists chipping, fading, and weathering across seasons. This is the foundational decision that makes the Alpine actually viable outdoors. Any table with steel hardware or a wood frame will corrode or warp outdoors — this one won't.

  • 💧

1-inch waterproof HDF playing surface — flat and level in any weather

Standard indoor pool tables use MDF — which absorbs moisture, swells, and warps catastrophically when exposed to outdoor conditions. The Alpine's 1-inch high-density fiberboard (HDF) playing surface is laminated to be fully waterproof. Rain hits it, dries off, and leaves no trace. The surface stays flat and level across humidity and temperature changes that would ruin a standard MDF table in a single season.

  • ☀️

UV-resistant electric blue felt — stays vibrant, stays firm, season after season

Standard pool felt fades, bleaches, and loses tension when exposed to sun. The Alpine's weather-proof, UV-resistant electric blue cloth is engineered to resist UV degradation — the color stays bold and the surface stays firm and level through multiple outdoor seasons. It also sheds rain rather than absorbing it, so the table is playable again quickly after a shower rather than needing to dry out for hours.

  • K-55 gum rubber cushions — pro-level rebound outdoors

K-55 is the cushion profile used on professional outdoor and commercial pool tables — specifically chosen for outdoor installations because it maintains consistent elasticity across a wider temperature range than standard cushion rubbers. Banks are accurate and responsive whether you're playing on a warm summer afternoon or a cool autumn evening. The cushion spec doesn't compromise just because the table is outdoors.

  • 📐

Full regulation 8-ft size — the real game, not a patio toy

At 88" × 44" playing surface, the Alpine plays exactly like the tables you'd find in a pool hall or game room. Shot geometry, bank angles, and cue ball position play all translate directly. This is not a scaled-down novelty table for outdoor spaces — it's a full regulation 8-ft table that happens to be built for outdoor conditions. At 306 lbs, it's also heavy enough to stay put in any outdoor environment.

  • 🎁

Rip-resistant nylon cover included — weather protection between sessions

The Alpine ships with a heavy-duty rip-resistant nylon cover that fits over the full table. Using the cover when the table isn't in use significantly extends the life of the felt and frame, protects from debris, and keeps the playing surface clean and dry. This is the most important maintenance habit for any outdoor pool table — and it's included, not an add-on.

⚖️
Why can't I just put a regular pool table outside? Standard indoor pool tables use MDF playing surfaces (absorbs moisture → swells → warps), steel hardware (corrodes in outdoor conditions), standard felt (fades and loses tension in UV), and wood or laminate cabinets (delaminate when wet). The Alpine uses none of those materials. Every component — HDF waterproof surface, aluminum frame, UV-resistant felt, K-55 outdoor cushions — is specifically specified for outdoor durability. An indoor table outdoors will be destroyed within one season of rain and sun. The Alpine is built to last.

Is This Right for You?

This Table Is Built For

The Alpine serves a very specific need. Here's who gets the most out of it:

🏊

Pool & patio owners

Poolside entertaining, covered patios, outdoor living areas. The Alpine is the centrepiece that turns an outdoor space into an entertainment destination.

🏡

Homes without indoor space

You want a full pool table but don't have the indoor room to justify one. The Alpine lets you play outside without the limitations of a patio toy.

🍻

Outdoor entertainers

BBQs, summer parties, neighbourhood gatherings. A regulation pool table in a covered outdoor space is the entertainment anchor that keeps guests engaged all evening.

🏢

Commercial outdoor venues

Bars, restaurants, resorts, and clubs with covered outdoor spaces. The Alpine's commercial-grade construction handles high-use outdoor environments.

Not the right fit if: You're looking for an indoor pool table — every other table on this site will give you more features at a lower price point for indoor use. The Alpine's outdoor-specific construction adds cost that isn't necessary for an indoor table. Also not suitable for fully uncovered exposed locations with no roof — covered or semi-covered outdoor spaces are required for long-term performance.
☀️ Outdoor Care Guide — Getting the Most from Your Alpine
DO

Use the included cover when the table isn't in use, especially overnight and in wet weather.

DON'T

Leave uncovered for extended periods in direct rain — the cover is your best maintenance tool.

DO

Place under a covered patio, pergola, or awning. Overhead coverage extends felt and surface life significantly.

DON'T

Allow standing water to pool on the surface for long periods. Wipe down after heavy rain.

DO

Brush the felt after play using the included brush to remove debris and maintain surface quality.

DON'T

Store permanently without a cover in harsh climates. Use an additional weatherproof cover for winter storage.

Delivery

How Your Table Gets to You

At 306 lbs, the Alpine ships via LTL freight on a pallet — not UPS or FedEx. Here's exactly what to expect:

1

Order placed → ships within 2–3 business days

Orders are processed quickly. You'll receive tracking and carrier details as soon as your table ships from the warehouse.

2

Freight carrier contacts you to schedule delivery

The carrier calls the phone number on your order to set a delivery appointment — typically a 4-hour window. Make sure your contact number is correct at checkout.

3

Curbside delivery — pallet arrives at your curb

The driver unloads the pallet at your driveway or curb. Standard delivery does not include placing it in your outdoor space. At 306 lbs, plan to have two or three people available to move it from the curb to its final location.

4

Inspect everything before signing the receipt

Walk the full shipment before signing. Note any damage — including to packaging — on the receipt before you sign. Contact us immediately with photos if anything looks wrong. This step is critical for freight claims.

5

Assembly — minimal, typically under 45 minutes

The Alpine is designed for quick assembly. Bolt on the legs and adjust the built-in leg levelers for a perfectly flat surface. Most customers are playing within 45 minutes of receiving the table. All hardware is included.

Transit time: Most deliveries arrive within 7–14 business days after shipment. We'll share an estimated window once your order ships.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The Alpine is built to be outdoors — the aluminum frame, waterproof HDF surface, and UV-resistant felt are all rated for outdoor exposure. However, like any outdoor furniture or equipment, the lifespan is significantly extended by using the included nylon cover when the table isn't in use for extended periods. Think of it the same way you'd treat an outdoor furniture set or a BBQ grill — you wouldn't leave it completely exposed indefinitely without a cover. For best results, place under a covered outdoor area (pergola, patio cover, awning) and use the cover overnight and during extended periods of non-use.
The waterproof HDF playing surface and UV-resistant felt are designed to handle rain without damage — rain runs off rather than being absorbed. After a shower, wipe the surface down with a towel and brush the felt, and the table is ready to play again quickly. The aluminum frame and powder-coated rails won't rust or corrode. Prolonged standing water (pools of water sitting on the surface for hours) should be wiped off. A quick rain — even a heavy one — will not damage a properly maintained Alpine.
Dramatically different. Standard indoor pool tables are built with MDF playing surfaces that swell and warp when exposed to moisture, steel hardware that corrodes, standard felt that fades and loses tension in UV, and wood or laminate cabinets that delaminate when wet. A regular indoor table placed outside will show serious deterioration within a single season. The Alpine uses none of those materials — 1-inch waterproof HDF for the surface, aluminum for the frame and rails, UV-resistant felt, and K-55 outdoor-rated cushions. These are purpose-built outdoor components, not standard indoor parts.
The Alpine's overall footprint is 99" × 55". For comfortable play with standard 57-inch cues — 5 feet of clearance on each end and side — plan for an outdoor space of at least 14' × 15', ideally 15' × 16'. At 306 lbs, once the table is in position it won't move easily, so measure your intended spot carefully before delivery. The table should be placed on a flat, stable surface — decking, concrete, or pavers. It is not suitable for placement on grass, gravel, or uneven ground where the leg levelers can't compensate fully.
Yes — the Alpine works perfectly indoors as well. At 306 lbs, it's heavier than most indoor tables, but it plays at full regulation 8-ft size with K-55 cushions and a 1-inch playing surface. If you want a table that can live on a covered patio in summer and move to a garage or interior space in winter, the Alpine handles both. Just be aware that it's significantly heavier than standard indoor tables and will require more people to move.
Every shipment is fully insured. Inspect the table and all components before signing the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage — even to the outer packaging — note it clearly on the receipt before signing, then contact us immediately with photos. Do not refuse the delivery unless the table is completely destroyed; partial damage is almost always resolved with replacement parts rather than a full return shipment. We handle the freight claim process with you and will make it right within the 1-year warranty window.
